Current MDC members present in-person will have an opportunity to vote on whether the club should endorse candidates ahead of next year's primary.

Palibu Day of service
Join Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin for a Day of Service, supporting the essential work local nonprofits do to support the Pacific Palisades and Malibu (PaliBu) communities. Participate in multiple hands-on projects and visit with local nonprofits at Pepperdine University or volunteer at one of our off site locations doing a beach clean-up at Malibu Lagoon or caring for our Oak trees at Nicholas Flat Trailhead.
Since we want to encourage you to join us in canvassing for Prop 50 this day, we suggest you support the community service event by dropping off non-perishable food items (ramen, peanut butter, pasta, tomato sauce, etc.) at Pepperdine between 8-9 am. Assemblymember and her team will be at Pepperdine's Alumni Park starting at 8am.

No Kings Day Malibu
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. This event is hosted by the Malibu Democratic Club and Indivisible Malibu. We will meet in front of the Malibu Library and peacefully march together through the Whole Foods and Country Mart shopping areas. We will use crosswalks and follow all pedestrian laws. We will not protest near PCH due to safety concerns.
NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
